Our Neurological Specialists work together to provide wide-ranging, seamlessly connected neurological care.

We are seeking a qualified Virtual Neurology Advanced Practice Provider to join our outpatient neurology team and provide virtual care to our established patients across the Greater Charlotte area at Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute Neurology. After onboarding, this will be a virtual position with the ability to work remotely from home with a "home base" at our Cabarrus office in Concord, NC. Although primarily virtual, the candidate must reside in NC or SC and attend designated monthly meetings in person, as well as occasional in person clinic at any of our locations within Greater Charlotte (this would be within their typical workweek hours and scheduled several weeks in advance).

Our Atrium Health Neurology team consists of over 60+ physicians and 25+ APPs across Charlotte fostering an engaged and collaborative environment. Our established APP Leadership structure provides support, advocacy, and numerous opportunities for professional growth. We are offering a new virtual care service to bring access, convenience, and quality care to our patients. This state-of-the-art virtual clinic will offer acute and convenient access for our established patients across the region.

Highlights of the position:

Provide Virtual General Neurologic Care managing longitudinal chronic neurologic issues. The majority of visits would be acute management of chronic conditions, routine follow-ups, and hospital follow-ups.

>80% Virtual with occasional in person clinic and meeting attendance

Opportunity for work/life balance with ability to work from home

Full Time/40 hours per week M-F (typically between 8-5, but may vary with potential to offer 1-2 days per week with extended hours (until 7p)

Option for desirable 4-day work week

Robust onboarding and orientation program for the first 6-12 weeks of employment (length variable based on prior experience).

Ideal candidate:

5+ years of experience with at least 2+ years of neurology experience required

MUST reside in NC or SC

Candidate must be driven and have passion for innovation as this will be our first dedicated virtual APP within neurology.
