Golisano Childrens Hospital - Lee Health is seeking a Pediatric GI Psychologist!

Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only childrens hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our communitys children ranging from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. It has a 16 bed PICU, 70 bed NICU with 24-hour in-house Neonatology coverage.

The organization has 4 acute care hospitals and 2 specialty hospitals that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group Pediatric Behavioral Health seeks a full-time Pediatric Psychologist to join their Pediatric GI team! This outpatient position will provide evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who present with a range of mental health and gastroenterological conditions. A few examples of GI conditions that benefit from behavioral health include children with inflammatory bowel disease, disorders of brain-gut interaction, complex nutrition and intestinal failure, and chronic liver disease. This position works with a dynamic multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced providers and dieticians. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends or call required!

Qualified candidates must have completed an APA-accredited internship in clinical counseling, or school psychology, have at least one year of post-doctoral training under supervision of a licensed psychologist, and be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Florida. A valid and active Florida license is required prior to start date. Prior experience in outpatient pediatric behavioral health is required, experience with pediatric GI conditions is a plus.
