As an Electrician 1, you will complete a variety of tasks in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical equipment, motors, appliances, elevators, fire alarm systems, fiber optics, telecommunications, distribution and switch gear systems, and other related equipment. In this key position, you will work alongside other electricians in order to maintain equipment and support the established goals and defined objectives of the maintenance department.

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours and schedule may change as operationally necessary.
• Overtime and travel as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Successful completion of the Electrician Trainee program (commonwealth title); or
  
• Four years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and equipment; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
