Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level manufacturing engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for Swiss turning operations and generate documentation for work instructions and procedures.
  • Support secondary cleaning, deburring, and metrology operations to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.

  • Participate in the design and development of tooling and fixtures to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Final year students or candidates with less than 2 years of experience in machine shop manufacturing industry.
  • Familiar with CAD tools, precision machining, GD&T and tolerance analysis to resolve mechanical component issue or jigs/fixture design

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with Swiss turning operations and secondary cleaning, deburring, and metrology processes is a plus.

California pay range: MIN $64,000 - Max $107,000

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
