Description

LinQuest is seeking a Financial/Resources Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, NM supporting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. An active DoD SECRET clearance is required.

In this role, you will support the Nuclear Weapons Center Air Delivered Capabilities Directorate to assist with tracking and forecasting the programs' current obligations and expenditures each Fiscal Year (FY) and the future years position.

Responsibilities:



  • Support and advise in the analysis of Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), conferring with corresponding Government entity to garner appropriate cost tracking data for each FY and future years position.
  • Support preparation of financial report briefings and synopsize report content with the Government AFNWC/ND Financial Manager during AFNWC/NDS financial meetings, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and other senior-level meetings.
  • Prepare for PMRs quarterly throughout the contract period of performance and provide presentations on other required or emerging issues throughout a fiscal year.
  • Use financial forecasts as a functional consideration in understanding the impact of changes in system requirements or design parameters on overall system performance and program outcomes.
  • Provide financial budgetary and contract support to perform statistical analysis to formulate analytical reports for senior leadership
  • Apply concepts of budget, program principles, policies, procedures, concepts, standards, terminology, and knowledge of the financial management and business operation systems of the organization.



Required Skills/Experience:



  • BS or BA in accounting, budget or financial discipline is highly desired.
  • 7+ years of financial management experience at the Wing, MAJCOM, Field Command, Combatant Command, or higher headquarters level.
  • Financial management experience in design, integration, test, and sustainment programs or technology development programs.
  • Experience working classified programs at the Top Secret level or above.
  • Knowledge of the DoD Defense Acquisition System.
  • Knowledge of DoD PPBE cycle
  • An active DoD SECRET clearance



Preferred Skills/Experience:



  • Experience with financial management of nuclear weapon systems and stockpiles.



Compensation



  • The starting salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 a year depending on experience.
