STATUS: Temp, up to 40 hrs/week

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Salvation Army is looking to fill a Kettle Coordinator position for our Chandler Corps. The successful candidate for this position will have excellent problem solving skills, communicate effectively and be able to read and write.

The Kettle Coordinator will conduct kettle orientation training for all employees and volunteers, will prepare proper paperwork for all seasonal Kettle employees. This person will accurately enter all needed information into the Kettle program and campaign related computer files, recruit & assign volunteers and prepare kettle schedules in a manner to maximize net income. This position will respond to any complaints received by store Kettle locations, assist with activities concerning toy donations, and assist with kettle driver duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years clerical experience
  • Previous Kettle experience is a plus
  • Valid Arizona driver's license & able to satisfactorily complete the Fleet Safety programs
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Possess excellent problem solving skills
  • Able to pass required background checks
  • Must support the mission of The Salvation Army


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
