Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

• Prepare journal entries and assist with month end close process, including account reconciliations
• Assist in documenting existing financial processes and workflows.
• Help create and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct research and gather data to support process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process optimization.
• Support the finance team with day-to-day tasks, including data entry and financial reporting.
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with internal audit functions such as perform comprehensive internal audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes, evaluating risks, preparing detail reports, and collaborating with team members to support internal controls.
• Contribute to special projects as needed.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

• Must be currently enrolled at time of internship as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accounting or finance program
• Ability to work 16 hours per week
• Availability for a hybrid work schedule is required, with a combination of remote and on-site work in Pittston, PA

The base pay range of $12/hour represents the hiring pay for undergraduate and $15/hour for graduate applicants that meet the minimum qualifications. Actual pay can vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The hiring pay listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include Benco Bucks, hands-on job experience, and potential full-time employment.
