Our IT, InfoSec, Cyber Risk, Business Ops team - is in the business of trust and reliability. We create, maintain and operate scalable technology and data solutions that deliver an exceptional experience for our internal & external customers. We embrace Agile principles and values, favor DevOps practices, and view infrastructure as code, all while we create an infrastructure that scales and supports our growth and ambitious vision. This requires a smart, highly collaborative team who can identify, investigate, and implement new technologies to continue securely scaling our global business.

Docusign's IT organization is looking to hire a passionate and hands-on Automation Developer (SDET) to join our Automation team. In this role, you can have a direct impact on the most visible and crucial products in the company. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager SDET.

Repsonsibility

  • Write automation code to fully test the system end-to-end and help build out the framework
  • Work on multiple projects and features in the world of Web and API
  • Collaborate with IT Analysts and IT Engineers on Sales, Product, Pricing & Packaging, Customer Success, Revenue Operations and Finance teams to understand the business outcomes and create test automation to support the progression and regression tests
  • Participate in requirements workshops to understand expected business outcomes and create the test plans
  • Create and groom test automation backlog into well-defined test scripts that align to the test framework and standards
  • Deliver innovative solutions that will scale and reduce our tech debt footprint
  • Participate in organizational change, user acceptance tests and go-live support

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelors in Computer Science
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the job and ability to work independently
  • Experience with UiPath and modern Web/API test automation tools
  • Experience in writing automation tests for SaaS/End2End Business flows
  • Understanding of QA methodologies including triaging, debugging, automating, and testing ability
  • Experience with test automation tools such as UiPath, Selenium and/or Playwright

Preferred

  • Experience with UI testing methodologies and automation systems
  • Experience in web-related technologies such as Web Services, REST, JSON, and XML
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Test Methodologies and passion for QE best practices
  • Ability to work in automated testing pipeline and experience with CI tools
  • Knowledgeable with quality best practices, and adoption of quality vision, strategy, process, standards, tools, automation frameworks and solutions
  • Experience Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
  • Understanding of "automate everything" combined with the ability to rapidly learn the technical skills necessary to do so
  • Passion for quality and improving the user experience
  • Quick, Self-learning capabilities, self-taught
  • Ability to solve complex problems Strong verbal and written communication skills

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $108,700.00 - $168,675.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
