Job Description

As an Electronics Technician you will:



  • Support avionics computer design and qualification efforts on the H-60 and other platforms.

A week in the life of an Electronics Technician:



  • Assemble and maintain electrical assemblies for testing and operating aircraft flight control systems. This includes soldering, wiring harness construction, and mechanical assembly.
  • Operate and troubleshoot electronic test stations and equipment. Equipment includes multimeters, oscilloscopes, computer test stations, and a cockpit simulation stations.
  • Maintain hardware configuration control and equipment inventory. This includes operating a configuration and inventory database as well as handling the material tracked by the database.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • An ability to solder electronics.
  • An ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft electronic systems and components.
  • An ability to assemble aircraft wire harnesses using crimping tools.
  • An ability to use and operate multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic development tools.
  • 5 years minimum experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft electronics.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
