Full Stack Engineer

Bluehawk Consulting is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support an American multinational technology company that specializes in e-commerce, cloud computing and much more.

Responsibilities

Design & Architecture:

  • Given a user story, create a design document for updating or creating services within a distributed service mesh.
  • Design solutions that adhere to Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, and Service Oriented Architecture principles.


Backend Development:

  • Model service contracts and validation schemas using Smithy IDL and Zod.
  • Build and maintain backend services using Typescript and Node.js.
  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit).
  • Work with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, IAM, API Gateway, AppSync, CloudWatch, and S3.


Frontend Development:

  • Develop responsive user interfaces using React and Typescript.
  • Integrate with GraphQL APIs to provide seamless data interaction on the Frontend.


Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor and respond to any outages or issues in the system, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for logging, monitoring, and alerts using CloudWatch and other AWS tools.

Required Skills & Experience


  • 5+ years of experience as a FullStack Engineer or similar role.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain FullStack solutions.
  • Experience creating and managing distributed services.
  • Ability to handle production incidents and respond to outages.

Salary Range for this position: $124,000 - $138,000
