John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking to add a Process Engineering Manager to lead our Process Burner team. This role is based in Tulsa, OK. John Zink is a global leader in emissions control and a pioneer in modern Smart Combustion solutions. Our research and development facilities make up the largest testing complex of its kind. Additionally, our worldwide service organization is the largest, most technically advanced team of its kind. We provide solutions to capture emissions, destroy pollutants, manage waste and heat vital processes to help industries operate more cleanly and efficiently. What You Will Do * Responsible for leading a team of process engineers to deliver technical support and tailored solutions to meet customers operational objectives * Responsible for supervising and developing employees to maximize their contributions by applying Principle Based Management (PBM). * Responsible for overseeing assessments and recommendations of burner technology selection in collaboration with commercial team to meet customer needs while optimizing risk * Responsible for engaging with customer counterparts to understand their needs and deliver technical presentations The Experience You Will Bring Requirements (Basic Qualifications): * Technical expertise within refining or chemical process industry * Experience in leading or directly applying engineering principles to drive the best solution based on the customers objectives to maintain, optimize, and/or troubleshoot) * Proven leadership influence, including mentorship, and the capacity to inspire and drive team performance * Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and senior management What Will Put You Ahead * Experience with Principle Based Management (PBM) * Experience in conducting, reviewing and interpreting CFD analysis * Direct experience in process heating or burner equipment * Direct supervisory experience * Ability to guide experiments and tests towards delivering successful solutions At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
