JOB SUMMARY Manages clinical activities, priorities, and problems, pharmacist staffing and workloads. Provides status report to pharmacy management effectively communicating issues, concerns, and suggestions as appropriate. Manages and develops clinical initiatives and determines therapeutic alternatives when drug shortages are identified and communicates with medical staff leadership and key stakeholders. Assists with budget preparation and daily financial activity specifically in relation to high cost drugs. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor of Science degree or PharmD from ACPE accredited school of pharmacy.
3 years of pharmacy management experience or completion of a HealthSystem Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) resident program English (speaking, reading, writing)
(BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required by start date Upon Hire and Eligible for licensure by Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) is required Upon Hire and Texas license with TSBP within 30 Days JOB DUTIES
