Senior Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a motivated and safety-minded individual to join our team as a Senior Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of our station systems, working alongside dedicated professionals who are committed to excellence and safety. Here's what you will do:

General Accountabilities:

  • Completes reports accurately and completely.

  • Consistently works in a safe, responsible manner and actively participates in safety-related programs.

  • Actively participates as a work group team member and maintains a cooperative work relationship with fellow employees.

  • Performs work in compliance with Company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.

Level-Specific Accountabilities:

  • Recognizes and reacts to abnormal conditions associated with duties.

  • No formal supervision exercised by this position; however, role may be required to provide basic guidance to contractors or less experienced employees

Core Job Duties:

  • Ensures the proper operation, compliance, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of such station systems as air systems, air dryer systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, gas compression, prime mover, and all other equipment necessary to maintain gas delivery through the compressor station.

  • Experience diagnosing and repairing issues as well as performing regular maintenance on high-speed compressors (Caterpillar 3600 series knowledge highly advised)

You have the following education and/or experience:

General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Five years of directly relevant training and experience.

  • Must demonstrate a detailed understanding of Enbridge Safety Policies and Procedures and act in accordance with them at all times.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training, formal education, and/or experience.

  • Able to communicate both standard facts and technical messages, whether written or verbal, to colleagues and non-technical audiences in a way that is understandable and actionable.

  • Willing to assist with more complex tasks, equipment and procedures

  • Able to work independently

  • Proficient in the use of standard office software applications.

  • Able to work and contribute to a team environment where inclusiveness, integrity, honesty, and openness are valued.

Core Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Possesses the desire to learn and advance, as a Mechanical Technician.

  • Working knowledge of operations used in maintenance and repair of pipelines and operational equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily field-oriented (outdoor) with specific office (indoor) functions for training, meetings, and documentation of required tasks dictated by the Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Enbridge must comply. #joinourteam

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying ( up to 50 amount of pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects 50 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
