This position will be primarily responsible for preparing, administering and maintaining transaction crude oil confirmations for Enbridge's marketing affiliate and providing supplemental support for natural gas transaction confirmations in accordance with internal procedures, risk controls and audit requirements.

What You Will Do:
  • Prepare crude oil transaction or other commodity confirmations ranging in complexity from basic to complex, consulting with internal and external parties to ensure accuracy and timely for executed confirmations.

  • Proactively identify inaccuracies and inconsistencies in transaction confirmations; troubleshoot problems related to confirmations as they arise.

  • Assist Legal in confirmation review, ensuring accuracy and mutual acceptance of transaction confirmation terms.

  • Enter new contracts and amendments into OpenLink or other systems, prepare executed documents and related information for Records Management filing.

  • Work with the Contract Negotiator to ensure all confirmations affected by Force Majeure are retrieved for responses to affected counterparties.

  • Update Contracts SharePoint Site with documents issued for execution in an organized and up-to-date manner. Follow up on outstanding matters and ensure timely execution of documents.

  • Back up other commodity confirmations in addition to adhoc analytic and administrative duties, as required.

Who You Are: Required:
  • University degree in business, legal or related field or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • 3 years of confirmation-related experience, administrative commodity or paralegal experience

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Word, Sharepoint and Excel

  • Ability to work well alone and within a team environment

  • Positive attitude and self-starter

  • Collaborative and flexible approach

Preferred:
  • Strong legal background (certificate) is desirable

  • Endur/Openlink, Egistix and Sharepoint are a plus

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
