 $60,000 - $85,000 depending on experience and qualifications

 Bachelors Degree with a major in human resources management, business or related field Experience
 
 Minimum of 5 years experience in human resources compensation and benefits management and administrationKnowledge of and experience working with human resources software and ability to use computer programs to maintain human resources data and to generate reports to support the work of the officeKnowledge and understanding of human resources administrationKnowledge of tax and benefits laws and ability to read and interpret federal and state regulations relative to compensation and benefits Other Skills:
 Excellent organization and project management skills. Strong communication skills including writing, speaking and listening. Ability to work with diverse groups. Skill in team building and collaboration with a demonstrated ability to involve others in work and to inform others of processes, decisions and events. Knowledge and understanding of labor laws, rules and regulations affecting school district personnel and school district operations.
 
 JOB SUMMARY:
 Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department including payroll, benefits administration, contract administration and data management in a timely and efficient manner and in compliance with federal and state regulations. The Coordinator serves as a key liaison between Human Resources and Business Services, providing technical, analytical, and operations support to ensure smooth execution of HR and payroll process throughout the school year.
 
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
 
 Assist the Director of Human Resources:
 
 Technology and Training:Serve as a liaison between Human Resources and other district administrators and departmentsAdvise in the implementation of District goals and objectives related to the Human Resources DepartmentFile required reports with state and federal agencies as requested including, but not limited to, STAR, ACA, and Pay Equity reportsServe as project manager for department and system level initiatives relating to human resources administrationCollaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT to identify and implement HRIS related process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and user experienceServe as a liaison to the Clerical staff across the district answering process questions, suggesting best practices, and leading process improvement projects 
 Compensation and BenefitsProvide Human Resources leadership on HRIS implementation project impacting HR and Finance for the entire districtServe as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the district's HRIS (e.g Skyward, Frontline, SFS) including maintenance, updates, an configurationEnsure the accuracy, security, and integrity of all HR data within the HRIS. Conduct regular audits of employee records, compensation, and benefits dataOversee projects to automate the Human Resources DepartmentOversee the maintenance and security of electronic employee files, ensuring all required documentation is accurately stored and easily retrievable in compliance with retention schedules.Fulfill ad-hoc and routine data requests from district administration, including staffing reports, turnover analysis, compensation data, and demographic breakdownParticipate in continuing education for current development applicable to human resources, employee benefits, payroll and others, as appropriate 
 Interpersonal Responsibilities:Assist in researching and providing staffing, wage and salary data, enrollment and other related budget information for negotiationsReview and determine salary schedule placement for new salaried staff and coachesParticipate in the salary lane change process for licensed staff ensuring compliance with district and state requirementsProcess and audit HR transactional data including new hires, transfers, position changes, and salary placementDetermine eligibility for, calculate, and process severance payments and separation payCoordinate the day-to-day administration of employee compensation and benefits programsAssist in ongoing evaluation of employee benefits programsAssist in the administration of employee attendance systems, including analyzing time cards and absence reports and maintain accurate leave balances in the HRIS (e.g. FMLA, sick, vacation)Research and recommend improvement to the benefits, staffing, compensation and performance management process 
 Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with employees, supervisors, department heads, and district administratorsDemonstrate ability to work effectively with diverse populations of staff and studentsDemonstrate respect for the basic dignity of students, teachers, support staff, colleagues and parentsWork cooperatively with students, teachers, support staff, colleagues and parents
