We are seeking a Supervisor Gas Operations to manage workflow assignments, financial processing, contractor staff coordination, and operational support activities within Design Support Services. This role ensures timely processing of invoices, requisitions, project folders, and contractor documentation while supporting reporting, system testing, and operational performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detailoriented, and capable of managing multiple operational functions in a fastpaced environment. As a people leader overseeing a union workforce, this role is responsible for coaching, supporting, developing, fostering a collaborative culture, and providing performance oversight through clear communication, guidance, accountability, while maintaining positive labormanagement relationships. #JoinOurTeam

What You'll Do

Daily Responsibilities

  • Assign projects for payment based on team workload capacity.

  • Approve invoice payments.

  • Assign requisition requests to the appropriate team members.

  • Approve requisitions.

  • Ensure workload is distributed according to assigned shop coverage.

  • Manage daily queues.

  • Support team with time off requests.

Weekly Responsibilities

  • Review and approve union employee and contractor staff timesheets.

  • Monitor and balance invoice processing workload.

  • Review PO funding requirements and coordinate communication with Project Managers and other internal stakeholders.

Monthly Responsibilities

  • Prepare and report monthly project performance metrics.

  • Review and analyze monthly team metrics.

As Needed / Miscellaneous Responsibilities

  • Participate in special projects and in-person and virtual meetings.

  • Perform project cleanup activities including coordination and assigning work to team.

  • Support contractor onboarding for services work, including documentation, pricing questions, forms, and process support.

  • Address contractor payment status questions and escalations.

  • Provide operational support to the team.

  • Review and approve supplyrelated credit card transactions.

  • Partner with crossfunctional teams to support team needs and ensure alignment with collective bargaining agreement.

  • Provide coverage and support for peer supervisors during their absence.

  • Lead performance management activities, including conducting performance reviews, delivering constructive feedback, and coaching team members to achieve growth and meet objectives.

Who You Are

You Have:

  • Experience in operational support, invoice processing, SAP and/or Oracle workflows, contractor coordination, or similar administrative roles.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or comparable enterprise systems, including invoicing, requisition and asset management workflows.

  • Knowledge of utility operations, service project workflows, and/or contractor management processes (preferred).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems, queues, and work processes.

  • Strong adaptability with the capacity to learn rapidly and succeed in evolving situations.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support team members in a positive and productive work environment.

  • A forwardthinking, positive mindset with the ability to guide teams through change and complexity.

You Can:

  • Manage and prioritize a diverse workload for a group of 15-20 team members.

  • Build effective working relationships with team members and contractor staff, project stakeholders, and internal/external partners.

  • Identify workflow bottlenecks, recommend process improvements, and implement changes successfully.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial and operational transactions.

  • Support ongoing workflow optimization and team performance visibility.

  • Partner with peer supervisors to ensure mutual support, workload balance, and seamless team operations.

  • Work overtime as business needs require.

Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment with limited travel requirements.

  • Hybrid work may be available depending on business needs and role requirements.

Salary:
  • Ranges from $88,700 to $141,700 USD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Bonus AIP 12.5%

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
