Edstrom Industries was started when company founder Bill Edstrom designed an automated watering system for the chinchillas he was raising. Other raisers thought it was a great idea because it saved them a great deal of time and money. Since its inception in 1969, Edstrom Industries has moved from a spare bedroom in an old Wisconsin farmhouse, to a 115,000 square foot facility. Edstrom Industries started out watering chinchillas but it wasn’t long before we started selling more complex watering systems to the laboratory animal industry. We sell to the agricultural market as well. We have drinking systems for pigs, cows, horses, and poultry. Rapid growth, delivering quality products, and excellent employees contribute to the success of the company. Today Edstrom Industries employs just under 200 people and sells internationally. Edstrom Industries, Inc. is located in scenic southeastern Wisconsin in Racine County approximately 25 miles southwest of the city of Milwaukee. Edstrom Industries’ mission is to be a profitable, innovative, growth-oriented company that develops, manufactures and markets quality products for animal care; to possess a passionate commitment to surpass our customers’ expectations, while continually seeking challenging opportunities.
